Traditional Moroccan Autumn Destination Wedding
October 5th, 2023
Siham and Maria are the most professional, fabulous, detail-oriented, and talented party planners in Marrakech. Planning a destination wedding from Miami was initially very scary, but Siham was always available to talk , answer questions, and give reassurance. Siham answered every text almost immediately even at odd hours (I’m not sure when she sleeps!) and continuous calls and texts to the extent where my husband was joking that she’s my new best friend. My wedding events could not have been more magical, Siham & Maria created an unforgettable experience not only for my husband and I, but for every guest. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.
Emily and Adam's Morocco wedding was colourful, fun and incorporated both the couples Cuban and Moroccan roots. As their Moroccan Wedding Planners, we loved crafting this couple's destination wedding in Marrakech. From the small design details, to fabulous entertainment and multi-cultural celebrations, together with Party Maroc, we pulled off yet another incredible destination wedding for our couple.
Moroccan Desert Welcome Party
Emily & Adam's Moroccan wedding weekend started with a unique welcome party in the majestic Agafay Desert. With camel rides and romantic desert walks, the couple spent time soaking in the spectacular nature and views of the Agafay desert before celebrating with family and friends in the beautifully decorated tents. With traditional Moroccan musical entertainment and everyone getting up onto the dancefloor, this evening was one to remember.
Outdoor Symbolic Ceremony
The couple had their wedding day at a private Marrakech villa, exchanging vows in a personal symbolic ceremony officiated by Emily's Auntie. We organised for an Arabic translator to translate the ceremony so all guests could follow along in their native language. This meaningful and romantic wedding ceremony was full of personal details and nods towards both the Bride & Grooms family heritage.
Extravagant Decor
Their Moroccan wedding ceremony took place outside on the grounds of a private villa where they said their vows to each other under a stunning floral arch of vibrant red, fuchsia and pink Moroccan bougainvillea flowers. From the blooms decorating the aisle to the Moroccan carpets, no detail was overlooked when creating this breathtaking Moroccan ceremony. The Bride's choice of colours for the beautiful bouquets and bridesmaids' dresses were full of__ Autumn vibes__ to reflect the time of the year.
Wedding Reception
Emily & Adam had a traditional Moroccan celebration in the evening, with the bride wearing a Negafa headpiece and Adam donning a white and gold Moroccan tunic.
Traditional Moroccan details like tea ceremonies, catering, their reception entrance and their outfits highlighted Adam's family heritage. Whilst the cigar bar, signature rum cocktails, and Latin music immersed guests in Cuban vibes to reflect the Bride's heritage.
By fusing customs and wedding traditions, we created an affair as unique as this couple’s love story. From combining Moroccan details into their wedding weekend to decorating their wedding venues to perfection - we were honoured to have shared our expertise and skills as Marrakech wedding planners to help Adam & Emily achieve their dream Moroccan wedding.
