Multicultural Chic and Authentic Marrakech Desert Wedding

Ellie and Saquib's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love in the exotic Moroccan Agafay desert, surrounded by their friends and family who flew from New York to Marrakech to witness their union and enjoy a weekend full of festivities.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in the stunning Agafay desert, with sand dunes and rocky mountains as the backdrop. Paired with beautifully designed floral arrangements and traditional Moroccan decor, the couple walked down an elegantly carpeted aisle to say their vows underneath a picturesque tree, a beautiful symbol of family and new life.
Ellie and Saquib incorporated elements from both their Chinese and Pakistani cultures into the ceremony, making it a truly multicultural and unique occasion. The couple wore traditional Pakistani dress for their rehearsal dinner and wedding day reception, which made for a fabulous dress change for Ellie!
Desert Venue
The rugged landscape, with its rolling sand dunes and rocky mountains of the Agafay desert, was the perfect backdrop for the couple's romantic wedding photos. They chose to spend some time together as husband and wife to admire the scenery and take in the splendor and magic of the day, whilst getting gorgeous desert wedding photos and memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.
Wedding Decor
The couple wanted a chic and romantic wedding with a touch of Moroccan flair, so we designed their decor and flowers accordingly. The wedding had an underlying theme of vibrant red and orange authentic Moroccan carpets throughout, with handmade lanterns adorning the ceremony and reception venue. Using a beautiful blend of rustic, earthy tones for the reception table perfectly complemented the natural surroundings of their desert venue.
Wedding Reception
Entering their desert wedding reception in style, Ellie & Saquib arrived on Camelback, to their eagerly awaiting guests. From welcome music to heartfelt speeches and delicious Moroccan catering, their desert wedding reception was full of laughter and love. And nothing could have prepared the guests for fire breathing and acrobatic evening entertainment followed by an all-night party!
Ellie and Saquib's wedding was a true celebration of love, culture, and family. The fusion of Chinese, Pakistani, and Moroccan traditions created a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone that shared in this special day.
