We are tough picky clients (ended up switching our venue half way through the process) and they were patient with us every step of the way. Our friends joked that our wedding was Crazy Rich Moroccans becuase everything felt so lux and was perfectly planned. When Brooke and Youness approached us to plan their dream fusion wedding in Marrakech, they envisioned a celebration that honored the groom’s Moroccan heritage while embracing an elegant and luxurious design. As a USA and Moroccan couple, they wanted their guests to experience the magic of a traditional Moroccan wedding combined with modern touches. With a stunning two-day celebration at a traditional private riad in Marrakech, we brought their vision to life.
A Magical Henna Night to Begin Their Fusion Wedding
Their wedding weekend began with a vibrant henna night held on the rooftop lounge of a private riad, setting the stage for this beautiful fusion wedding. With breathtaking views over Marrakech, the space was transformed into a chic setting with Moroccan decor elements. Elegant white and peach floral table decor created a soft and romantic tone, while emerald green and gold sofa and cushion accents reflected traditional Moroccan wedding colours.
A Stunning Moroccan Wedding Ceremony
The wedding day itself was a true reflection of Brooke and Youness’s love story, with thoughtful details capturing the essence of both their cultures. The ceremony space was adorned with lush greenery and white floral arrangements, including greenery columns, flower meadows lining the aisle, and delicate greenery accents. Lanterns added a timeless Moroccan touch, creating the perfect ambiance for a traditional Moroccan wedding ceremony.
Fusion Wedding Reception
A Moroccan tea man brought authenticity to their guests, symbolizing the essence of Moroccan hospitality and welcoming friends and family to the reception. Guests enjoyed the intimate rooftop drinks reception, where heartfelt speeches celebrated the couple’s unique love story.
For the reception dinner, the courtyard of the Riad was illuminated by soft candlelight, setting a romantic ambiance. Guests were treated to personalized table place settings, elegant floral arrangements, and a gourmet Moroccan feast. Live music entertainment added to the joy and celebration as the evening unfolded in the luxurious and intimate setting at a traditional Moroccan venue.
