Welcome to the Catholic wedding of Doriane and Luca, our multicultural couple who celebrated their elegant destination church wedding in Marrakech. From incredible and bespoke rustic wedding decor to gorgeous floral arrangements and traditional Catholic wedding elements from both of their Italian-Dutch and African-French heritage, this was a truly incredible wedding. With guests coming from all corners of the globe, their three-day wedding celebration was nothing short of magical.

Welcome Night in the Marrakech Medina

The festivities began with a warm and vibrant welcome night in a private Riad in the midst of the Marrakech medina. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as guests gathered on the rooftop to enjoy local Moroccan cuisine and traditional live music. This rustic and relaxed welcome night set the tone for their chic and elegant destination wedding weekend. With their guests truly immersing themselves in Moroccan culture the night was filled with laughter, music and celebrations.

Catholic Wedding Ceremony

Our couple wanted a religious Catholic wedding ceremony and we helped them to choose a beautiful local church in Marrakech where they exchanged their vows. The historic architecture and stunning design of this Moroccan Catholic Church was mesmerising, and was the perfect blend of religion and family traditions. With all their close family and friends in attendance, Doriane and Luca said their ‘I Do’s’ in this timeless and serene environment.

As their wedding planners we helped Doriane and Luca get in touch with the local Priest and church to arrange the order of service and prepare them for their Catholic wedding. On the day we helped arrange their guests' transport from their accommodation to the church using our local and trusted contacts.

Rustic Wedding Reception with an Italian Touch

Following their church ceremony, we arranged transport for their guests to a private hotel where their elegant wedding reception was held. The rustic wedding decor featured natural elements such as wooden tables, lush greenery, and soft romantic florals. Pastel floral decor arrangements complemented the relaxed vibe of the reception and created an elegant atmosphere.

Bespoke Rustic Wedding Decor

Doraine and Luca chose to have a chic and rustic vibe for their destination wedding. From their linen signage to garden-style delicate floral designs and rattan chairs, every detail came together to create the perfect aesthetic for their big day. Their guests enjoyed relaxing on the Moroccan pouffes, rugs and traditional cushions in the gardens surrounded by traditional Moroccan lanterns.

Relaxed Wedding Brunch

The final day of the celebration featured a relaxing brunch at the hotel. This laid-back gathering allowed guests to unwind and savour the last moments of the wedding festivities. The brunch, set in the hotel's picturesque garden, continued the rustic wedding decor theme, with fresh flowers and natural elements.

Romantic Destination Church Wedding

Every aspect of this multicultural destination wedding was perfectly planned to include both the bride and groom’s family heritage and culture. From the ceremony, to the design, catering, music and partying - each element represented Doraine and Luca’s personality and relationship. There was so much love and enjoyment shared between their guests, and there were smiles shared all around for the whole weekend.
