A Timeless Multicultural Wedding at Palais Namaskar, Marrakech
May 19th, 2024
Our couple Lola and Zaid chose to celebrate their destination multicultural wedding in one of the finest venues in Marrakech - Palais Namaskar. It was a spectacular celebration of love and culture between Lola, our Dutch bride, and Zaid, her Moroccan Dutch groom. Their wedding was a seamless blend of Dutch and Moroccan traditions in a timeless and elegant setting.
Traditional Henna Night
The festivities kicked off with a rich and vibrant Henna night for the bride and her bridal party, taking part in this traditional Moroccan pre-wedding celebration. The night was filled with laughter, stories, music and the shared experience of having their henna applied by local artists. This Henna night set the tone for the wedding, showcasing the rich Moroccan wedding customs that their guests will experience.
Elegant Wedding Ceremony
The luxurious and stylish wedding ceremony was a stunning fusion of Dutch and Moroccan cultures. Lola and Zaid's multicultural wedding was an elegant affair, combining elements from both their heritages to create a unique and memorable celebration. The ceremony took place at the luxurious Palais Namaskar, a grand setting with gorgeous Moroccan architecture. This venue provided a perfect backdrop for the timeless white wedding theme the couple had chosen, featuring white florals with delicate greenery. Lola carried a stunning all-white wedding bouquet, adding to the sophisticated ambiance.
A Luxurious and Timeless Celebration
Lola and Zaid's multicultural wedding was a luxurious event, with many intricate and detailed decor and styling choices throughout for an overall cohesive and elegant aesthetic. The outdoor reception was held on the lawn of Palais Namaskar, beneath a ceiling twinkling lights. The couple hosted their reception with incredibly timeless table settings of white floral arrangements and candles, complementing their clean, modern, and chic wedding aesthetic.
For the evening festivities, the couple incorporated traditional Moroccan wedding customs. Lola changed into a traditional caftan adorned with traditional jewellery and the couple made their grand entrance to their reception by being carried on an traditional Ammariya chair which added an authentic touch to the celebration.
